The Tajik Parliament wants to abolish sex work. They are introducing harsher measures under the Administrative Liability Code, hoping this will deter sex workers from working in the industry. According to the Tajik news source Ozodi, under new and harsher rules set out in the Administrative Liability Code, sex workers caught breaking the law for the first time will be required to pay double what they paid in the past. If the same sex worker breaks the law a second time, they will face up to 15 days in jail.

An interview with Irina Maslova by Elena Derzhanskaya from Initiativa Pozitiva, an organization that deals with HIV/AIDS in Moldova.

Irina Maslova is a Chairwoman of the non-profit partnership of sex workers and their supporters "Silver Rose" as well as Chairman of the HIV / AIDS Coordinating Committee of the Russian Federation. A few weeks ago Irina came to Moldova to the meeting of the Global Fund Community Delegation. I had managed to make an interview with Ira, and after this my personal attitude to sex workers changed dramatically. I hope yours will change as well.

Ukrainian National TV channel 24 visited Elena Tsukerman from All-Ukrainian League “Legalife” in Kiev, made a 1,5 hours interview, the journalists discussed serious topics with Elena, and they even tried to dig deeply in these topics.
