Bulgaria: International HIV/AIDS day marked in Sofia
The rose-planting on May 19 had a double symbolism: remembering those who died of HIV/AIDS - caused complications, and a pledge to live, fight HIV/AIDS. The roses were planted in the centre of Sofia, in the South Park, close to the Hilton Hotel. Each participant - from HESED, other NGOs as well as from the national Program of Prevention and Control of HIV/AIDS, UNAIDS and numerous citizens - was given his and her own rose to plant.
The other initiative- candle vigil – planned for Sunday, 20 May at 21,00 in the park at the Bulgaria Boulevard, was unfortunately cancelled due to the rainstorm that day.
During the campaign against HIV/AIDS in May this year the organizers distributed 800,000 info-booklets, posted 20,000 posters and gawe away close to 700,000 condoms. A public service announcement was broadcasted free of charge on national, cable and regional TV stations.

Quotes of the Month
I think the best strategy is to agree with everything. To obey. To look like a passive obeying women. Not to resist but then to escape at the first good opportunity. A customer can be the best help to escape.
