Concept of human rights and mechanisms for their protection will be introduced and discussed trough presentations and case studies at six workshops among professionals (in Skopje, Gostivar, Kumanovo, Stip, Kavadarci and Ohrid), six among injecting drug users (3 in Skopje, 1 in Stip, Kumanovo and Kavadarci) and four among sex workers in Skopje. An emphasis will be put on human rights violations by police and on the introduction of the new law on public order which regulates prostitution and drug use, and implies new and much higher administrative taxes for those activities.
