The police do not want to hear them, the doctors do not want to examine them, they are not served in the restaurant. Women working as sex workers face a lot of problems. It is not just about physical violence from a customer that was experienced by almost every one of them. They also suffer from the public prejudices and uncomfortable judgements. That is why Odyseus launched a campaign called "End of violence, time for rights".

17th December International day to end violence against sex workers

History of 17th December as an International day to end violence against sex workers has begun in 2003, when organization SWOP in USA organised memorial ceremony for more than 48 victims of murder from green river. This event has grown into international movement, which draws attention to hate crime and discrimination of people working in sex business.

During the outreach services there are condoms available in the special package with human rights statements, small hygienic gifts and magazines with sex workers' experience and stories but also news from the sex work from abroad. Over the hot soup and discussion we are trying to make a safer place for sex workers rights on the street."
