SWAN will participate in NSWP’s Webinar on Social Protection

Next Tuesday, SWAN’s Programme Officer Trajche Janushev will participate in NSWP’s webinar with the Sex Worker Networks Consortium on ‘Sex Workers’ Access to Social Protection: Findings and Learnings from Community-Led Research’.

Tuesday, 11 June, at 8 am Ecuador / 3 pm CEST / 4 pm East Africa / 8 pm ICT / 11 pm AEST

This webinar marks the culmination of a three-year research and capacity-building project, spanning 27 countries. We will present the findings of our research on social protection and hold a panel discussion with regional networks. The discussion will delve into networks’ experiences throughout the project, underscoring the significance of community-led research and capacity-building.

Interpretation will be available in Spanish, Russian and French.

An advance copy of the report ‘Global Findings on Sex Workers’ Access to Social Protection and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights’ will be sent to everyone who registers for the webinar. The report will be sent closer to the webinar date.
